The National Institute of Invasive Species Science (NIISS) website was developed to integrate field data and research projects from many sources reduce the effects of harmful non-native plants, animals, and diseases in natural areas and across the United States through a strategic approach to information management, research, modeling, technical assistance, and outreach. The website allows users access to areas of the website depending on their user levels and project roles. The website is divided into four main components:
